Clifford Ray "JimBob" "Hutch" Hutchison, 81, of Rush, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell.
JimBob was born at Norton Branch in Rush, a son of the late Raymond Burton and Hazel Hutchison Davis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the grandfather that raised him, David Sylvester "Poppy" Hutchison; a son, Michael Hutchison; a stepmother, Ruth Burton; and three brothers, George "Corky" Burton, Donald Davis and Thomas Davis.
He retired from the U.S. Army and New Jersey Army National Guard having served 40 years six months and 18 days. JimBob attended the Wilson Creek Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of Rush Masonic Lodge 715 F&AM
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Maria Heine Hutchison; a daughter, Kathryn Hutchison Munch (George Rowe) of Oak Ridge, N.J.; five brothers, Bobby Jack (Lillie) Burton of Denton, Ronnie (Arvilla) Davis of Argillite, Teddy Davis of Rush, Charles (Iris) Davis of Rush and Larry "Moose" (Jenny) Davis of Rush; six sisters, Lou Ann (Ted) Crace of South Point, Ohio, Janet (Buddy) Amick of Louise, Va., Pearl (Hoppy) Coleman of Rush, Sandy (Buzzy) Thomas of Grayson, Brenda (Junior) Hale of Rush, Linda (Jack) Lucas of Rush and Rita Jo (Paul) Hutchinson of Rush; five grandchildren, Kathy Ann (Eli) Kababa of Randolph, N.J., Julie Hutchison of Columbia, S.C., Michael Hutchison Jr. of Dover, N.J., Megan Hutchison of N.C. and Ryan (Beth) Munch of Cincinnati, Ohio; five great-grandchildren, Kaelan, Noel, Conner, Violet and August; and a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins.
JimBob was away from Kentucky for nearly 50 some odd years and was very happy to reconnect with his extended family when he returned in 2006. He loved family reunions, get togethers and picnics. JimBob was also the lawn enforcement officer at his residence. He loved his lawnmower and maintained a well-manicured lawn.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Wilson Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Joed Rice minister. Inurnment will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2017, in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup County with full military rites.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. with Masonic Rites at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
