Dale Lee Brown, 71, of Dublin, Ohio, formerly of Ironton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, in Friendship Village in Dublin.
The Ironton native was born March 8, 1946, a son of the late Jesse W. and Helen M. Preston Brown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda L. Chinn; a brother, Richard "Dick" Brown; and a granddaughter, Haylee Dale Henderson.
Mr. Brown was a 1966 graduate of Ironton High School and a sales representative for Eskew, Smith and Cannon Company. He was a Mason, enjoyed bowling, loved movies and gambling.
He is survived by two daughters, Shelli (Robert) Morris of Powell, Ohio and Sherri Lezu of South Point; two sons, Allan Brown of Cary, S.C. and Bud Dee (Coni) Brown of Mount Sterling; a brother, Dennis (Judy) Brown of Canton, Ohio; grandchild, Lindsay (Cody) Taylor of Greenup and great-grandchild, Maddon Taylor; grandchild, Alexandra Morris of Powell, Ohio; grandchildren, Lendon and Wesley Lezu of Chesapeake, Ohio and great-grandchild, Arianna Lezu; grandchild, Jacqueline (Chad) Townsend of Mount Sterling and great-grandchild, Jackson Townsend; grandchild, Hunter Brown of Mount Sterling;
and several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at Phillips Funeral Home in Ironton, Ohio, with Pastor James Butch Crum officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
