Deloris Dale Blanton Stambaugh, 75, of Sandy Hook, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 21, 1941, in Elliott County, the daughter of the late Glen and Ethel Elliott Blanton.
In addition to her parents, shes was preceded in death by three sisters, Frances Ellene Hampton, Nola Blanton and Glenna Wyatt.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
Deloris is survived by a son, Timothy Duvall of Sandy Hook; a daughter, Pamela and husband Bernal Atkins of Sandy Hook; three grandchildren, Amanda Dawn Duvall Lykins and husband Kent, Bernal Joe Atkins and wife Kim and Paula Brooke Warren and husband Rob; two great-grandchildren, Tre' Lykins and Evelyn Rose Atkins; and brothers and sisters, Lloyd Blanton, Floyd Blanton, Lucy Leona Adkins and Evelyn Garletta Skaggs, all of Sandy Hook, Laura Adkins of Ashland, and Cloma Wagoner of Sandy Hook.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016, at at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home in Sandy Hook with Brother Charles Skaggs officiating. Burial will be in Elliott County Memory Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
