Dennis Eugene Fritz, 93, of Raceland, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 27, 2017, in Community Hospice in Ashland.
Mr. Fritz was born May 20, 1924, in Greenup, a son of the late John "Bud" and Temperance Hannah Fritz. He is also preceded in death by three sisters, Charlene Harris, Lorene Brown and Virginia Fritz; five brothers, Paul Fritz, Tom Fritz, Hubert Fritz, Leonard Fritz and Kurt Fritz.
Mr. Fritz was the owner of Fritz Refrigeration Sales and Services. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Masons, Eagles, Moose Lodge and Shriners. Mr. Fritz is a World War II Veteran who proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Fritz Huffman; four sons, Timothy Ray (Kim) Fritz, Daniel Wayne Fritz, Dennis Fritz Jr. and David Brooks (Lisa) Fritz; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017, officiated by Dr. Tommy Melvin at the Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery North East with military rights conducted by the Kenova American Legion Post 93.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. with Masonic services by Poage Masonic Lodge 325 of Ashland at 7 p.m. Sunday July 30, 2017, at Evans Funeral Home in Raceland for friends and family.
