Douglas Ray Burchett, 67, of Ashland, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, in King's Daughters in Ashland.
He was born in Ashland Oct. 25, 1949, to the late Newell and Pauline (Hamilton) Burchett.
Douglas was in the Boilermaker Union. He loved his grandchildren, photography and his black labs, Bear, Katie, Max.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Christopher Burchett; and grandson, Scotty.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Leilani (Rye) Burchett of Ashland ;his children, Tracey Burchett and Teri Burchett of Ashland Tiera (Linda) Gonzalez of Milwaukee, Wis., Yolanda Rye of Ashland, Kimberly (Nik) McCulloch of Weare, N.H., Shawn Rye of Providence, RI, and Kayla American Horse of Ashland; his sister, Jo Waldron of Bentonville, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services at noon Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at the Manchester Cemetery.
Father Adam of Holy Trinity will be officiating.
Wilson Home for Funerals is assisting family.
