Forest "Poppy" Lee Ingle, 84, of Rush went to be with his Lord Saturday, April 8, 2017, after a long illness.
Forest was born Feb. 28, 1933, a son of the late Albert Lee Ingle and Mary Ruth Potter McClurg.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wayland Ingle; and two brothers, Gordon Dean McClurg and Bobby Joe McClurg.
He retired from Laborers Local 1445 and was a member of Kilgore United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joyce Yvonne Rigsby; five sons, Anthony Lee Ingle of Ashland, Jeffrey Waldon Ingle, Wesley Farrell Ingle, Marlin Roy and wife Allison Ingle and Myron Benjamin Ingle, all of Rush; four daughters, Karen Yvonne and husband Roger of Ocala Fla., Marcy and husband Brad Stowers of Culloden, W.Va., Marla Joy and husband Terry Marshall of Grayson and Marnettia Belle and husband Nathan Johnson of Mt. Sterling; four sisters, Polly Hendricks and Jannell Hendricks, both of Columbus Ohio, Louise Johnson of Houston and Judy Neal of Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother, Coleman McClurg of Carter City; 32 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday at Kilgore United Methodist Church with Fred Wiles and Guy Moyer officiating. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday at the church.
