George G. Marmisch, 52, of Greenup, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at his home.
He was born April 12, 1964, in Patterson, N.J., the son of Alla Marmisch and the late George A. Marmisch.
He was employed for more than 25 years with EI Dupont Chemours and was most recently employed by Veolia as an electrical and instrument technician.
In addition to his mother, he leaves behind his partner, Mary May of Greenup; a daughter, Dahlia Marmisch of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; a step-daughter, Caitlin Horsley and spouse Jamie Horsley of Louisville; two siblings; and a grandson.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland with Chris Bellew and Travis Hobbs officiating. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his extended work family.
