Georgia Sue Jordan, 78, of Ashland, died Monday, March 6, 2017, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was born April 3, 1938, in Lexington, the daughter of the late Arthur Boone and Nell McClain Caudill. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Delbert N. Jordan; and a son, Dale Edwin Jordan.
She was a former nurse's aide at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland and retired from the food service division at the hospital. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include a special friend, Joe Baer; four daughters, Mary Ann Loudenback of Pittsboro, N.C., Debra Sue McCuddy of Richmond, Patricia Jean Jordan of Ashland, and LaNelle Irene Wells of Ashland; two sons, Jeffery Norman Jordan of Alexandria, Va., and James Arthur Jordan of Flatwoods; a sister, Bonnie Evans of Ashland; two brothers, Donald Boone Caudill of Summit, and Joseph Caudill of Lexington; seven grandchildren, Douglas Loudenback, Gregory Loudenback, Jason McCuddy, Michael McCuddy, Michael Morgan Jr., Andrew Lemmings and Jordan Erwin; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Bellefonte Memorial Garden.
There will be no visitation.
Miller Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
