Gregory Stephen Harshbarger, 62, of Ashland, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
Mr. Harshbarger was born June 25, 1954, in Charleston, W.Va., to the late Lenorad H. and Lillian Olive Bledsoe Harsbarger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, The Rev. J.L. Moore.
Greg was a graduate of Milton High School and currently a representative of Veterans Outreach. He loved spending time with Rowdy, his furry side kick, especially "hunting" for deer and squirrel. Greg enjoyed feeding and watching birds and squirrels. He was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church.
Greg is survived by his adoring wife of 20 years, Lisa Irene Moore Harshbarger; a daughter, Amber Meadows of Seattle, Wash.; a mother-in-law, Rebecca J. Moore; a brother-in-law, Ronald (Cheryl) Moore; and special fur babies, Rowdy and Sassy.
Funeral services for will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Neal Funeral Home in Catlettsburg with Pastor Jason Porter officiating. Final resting place will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2017, at the funeral home.
