Harold Ray Whitt, 64, of Greenup, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell.
He was born Sept. 18, 1952, in Ashland, the son of the late Claude and Ernestine Tipton Whitt.
He was a retired welder for Mansbach Metal, a former director of Midwest Sportsman and of the baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Adkins Whitt; two sons, Harold Ray Whitt Jr. (Lesley) of Winchester and Gregory F. Whitt (Adare) of Russell; two sisters, Janet Marie Adams (Bob) of Catlettsburg and Pearl Dowdy of Ashland; two brothers, David Whitt and Claude N. Whitt (Michelle) all of Ashland; and three grandchildren, Gavin Ray Whitt, Sara Elizabeth Whitt and Emma Grace Whitt.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Rose Hill Mausoleum in Ashland with Pastor Ted Barker officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Miller Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
