Helen B. Sesher, 93, of Ironton, Ohio, passed away, Thursday, April 6, 2017, in Crystal Care Health Center in Coal Grove, Ohio.
Mrs. Sesher was born March 24, 1924, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Chester and Lillie Riffe Harr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Albert Sesher, who passed away August 13, 2001; four brothers, Orville, Vernon, Clifford and Harold Harr; two sisters, Leatha Adams and Alene Travis; and a grandson, Bryan LeMaste.
Mrs. Sesher attended Boyd County Schools. She was a retired supply clerk for Galion Community Hospital. She enjoyed crafting, taking care of her family and attended Meade Station Church of God
She is survived by a son, Charles M. (Connie) Sesher of Ironton, Ohio; two daughters, Cathy (Mike) Blankenship of Ironton, Ohio and Bonnie (Steve) Bailey of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; five grandchildren, Chris Sesher, Mark Sesher, Brandon LeMaster, Jennifer Griffith and Mike Shesher; and nine great-grandchildren; Evan Griffith, Lona Griffith, Braydon LeMaster, Ella LeMaster, Alex Sesher, Kyle Sesher, Samantha Sesher, Dylan Sesher and Derrick Sesher.
She will be missed by her many friends at Crystal Care
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Woodland Cemetery with The Rev. Leon Dalton officiating.
Visitation will be from noon to 1:45 p.m. at Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home in Ironton, Ohio.
The family has requested donations be made to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Ave., Ashland, KY 41101.
