Imogene's Story

Imogene "IM" McCoy, 86 of Baltimore, Ohio, died Sunday, March 12, 2017, in Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitaion.
She was born June 23, 1930, in Jeriel, Ky., to the late Commodore Mitchell and Virgie Totten Bowling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hager R. McCoy; four brothers; and six sisters.
She was a member of Lancaster Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
IM is survived by her children, Carolyn (Walt) Vannatta, Danny (Sandy) McCoy, Lisa McCoy, Joseph Mitchell and (Pam) McCoy; grandchildren, Jeff (Robin) Vannatta, Mike (Staci) Vannatta, Patricia (John) Haughn, Kristi (Kyle) Farmer, Sara (Lee Godenschwager) McCoy, Rob (Audra) Wright, Lucas (Kristina) Wright, Jonathan Wright, Karli George, Jesse(Sarah) McCoy and Rachel McCoy; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, at Lancaster Church of Christ, located on Granville Pike, with Val Roxby officiating.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home in Baltimore, Ohio.
Memorials may be made in IM's name to Roxby Scholarship Fund, 1779 Granville Pike, Lancaster, OH 43130.
