Jada's Story

Text size

Jada Ch'loe Bradford Hedrick, 47, departed this world Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
Jada was a lifelong resident of our community. She grew up in Flatwoods. Jada was a graduate of Russell High School and Morehead State University.
She worked for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Juvenile Justice System for more than 20 years. She was a Juvenile Specialist with the Department of Juvenile Justice.
Jada was bright, beautiful, witty, spunky and loving. She loved her son, Adam the most. "Addie" was most definitely the joy that Jada held deepest.
In addition to Adam, Jada is survived by her parents, Jim and Joan Bradford, formerly of Flatwoods, who currently reside between their cabin near Cave Run Lake and home in Florida; her dearest and closest cousin, Mary Beth "Sissy" Pickett and husband Denny of Flatwoods and their children and grandchildren; and several other cousins, aunts and extended family.
God Bless Jada. She is and always will be loved, missed and thought of by the many who loved her, knew her, are now and always will be her cherished friends and family.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Pastor Dwight Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
Friends and family may call from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers and in Jada's memory, please make a contribution to a local charity that benefits children.
