Jane Wallis Cox Wiler, 72, of Ashland, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, March 5, 2017, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 1, 1944, in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late John Wallace Cox and Ruth Herron Cox.
She was a devoted member of the Meade Memorial United Methodist Church in Russell and a retired clerk from Air Products in Ashland.
Jane loved crocheting, all Kentucky sports and spending time with her family and friends.
Jane is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, James W. Wiler Jr.; a son, David Wiler of Catlettsburg; two special cousins, Barb (Don) Stephens of Nicholasville, and Donna Jean O'Donnell of Lake Hamilton, Fla.; and a very close friend, Joyce Dougherty of Lexington; and nieces, nephews and cousins who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Pastor Larry Puryear and the Rev. Charles Wiler officiating. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017, and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
