Juanita Irene Jarrell Davis, 68, of Olive Hill went to be with her Lord Monday, June 19, 2017, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
Juanita was born Sept. 11, 1948, in Greenup County, a daughter of the late Elman Sr. and Margaret McGarey Jarrell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie James Davis in 2009; two brothers, Elman Jarrell Jr. and Ray Jarrell; one sister, Charlene Madden; and a grandson, Justin Scott Davis.
Juanita was a devoted, loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed going to flea markets and sewing. Juanita was a Christian and attended Carter City Church of Christ.
She is survived by three sons, James Ronnie (Chris) Davis of Louisville, SFC Jerry Dale (Tamara) Davis of Junction City, Kan., and Joey Scott (Andria) of Grayson; one grandson, Jarred Scott Davis; two step-grandchildren, Ashley (Tyrel) Denico and Michael (Megan) Blue; four step-great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jeremiah, Zoey and Darien; three brothers, Ronald (Liza) Jarrell of Columbus, Ohio, Lawrence (Bonnie) Jarrell of Marysville, Ohio and Vernon (Reda) Jarrell of Greenup; three sisters, Mary Dean (Abe) Howard of Columbus, Ohio, Sharon Howard of Greenup and Linda Milano of Timmonsville, S.C.; a special friend, Henry "Shorty" Kiser; and several nieces and nephews who all mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2017, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Chris Bellew and Wick Greer officiating. Burial will be in McGlone Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
