Kathryn Jeanette Burton, 95, of Rush, KY, died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, in the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
Mrs. Burton was born Dec. 7, 1921, in Floyd Co., KY, a daughter of the late Samuel and Oma Hager Badgett.
She was owner of the Superior Service Station.
Kathryn was proceeded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, Thomas A. Burton in 2000.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Samuel "Sam" and Carolyn Burton of Rush, KY, Bertha and David Frazier of Jacksonville, FL; a grandson, Ronnie Burton of Jacksonville, FL; and two great-grandchildren, Rydon Burton and Michael Ringler.
Funeral services for Kathryn will be conducted on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland, KY, by Rev. Paul Badgett. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens in Grayson, KY.
Friends may call at Lazear Funeral Home on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour before the services on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017.
