Keith Preston Queen, 75, of Catlettsburg, went to be with his Lord, Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, with his family by his side.
Keith was born Oct. 12, 1941, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to the late Clyde Woodrow and Lula Grace Preston Queen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Queen.
Keith loved spending time with his family, and was strong in his faith in Christ. He was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church and loved reading the bible. In his spare time Keith enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach. He was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcats fan and proudly enjoyed cheering on the Cats. Keith retired from Ashland Oil Refinery as an insulator, after 34 years of service.
Keith leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Webb Queen; three children, Bret (Sandy) Queen, Tina (Rick) Potter and Kevin (Lisa) Queen, all of Catlettsburg; five grandchildren, Dustin Queen, Kelsea Clark, Kaelyn Potter, Cade Potter and Lexie Queen; four great-grandchildren, Baylie Hanshaw, Alyssa Queen, Karley Queen and Hadley Queen; and a host of extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Keith's life will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood with Pastor Mike Rice officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Visitation will be after 9:30 am Friday at the funeral home.
