Lois N. Clary, 74, of South Shore, passed away, Thursday, March 9, 2017, in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.
She was born Dec. 28, 1942, in Greenup County, the daughter of the late Thomas Clay and Justine Gullet Clay.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Shelby Linker; and two brothers, Ronnie and Fred Clay.
Lois was a mother, homemaker and grandmother. She was of the Christian Faith and a member of Alben Barkley Club.
She is survived by her husband, William R. Clary; two sons, William Richard Clary Jr. of South Shore and David Elmer Clary of Jasper, Ga.; one daughter, Veronica G. Clary Futrell of Lexington; one brother, Clarence "Soc" Clay of South Shore; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 P.M. Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Mt. Zion Cemetery with The Rev. Kenny Fox officiating.
Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore is in charge of arrangements.
