Michael Lee Mills, 61, of Flatwoods, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
He was born Aug. 19, 1955, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Sylvia Johanna Johnson Mills Clark.
He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Mark Mills.
Mr. Mills was an electrician, HVAC, and project manager for Ashland Oil. He retired from Ashland Oil in Russell has a Facilities Manager. After retiring, he started his own heating and air business, Service Providers, Inc. He enjoyed boating, golfing, fishing and his time at Grayson Lake Marina. Mr. Mills was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Deborah Jo Conley Mills; one son, Michael Lee Mills II and fiancé Michaela Gallo of Fairmount, W.Va.; one daughter, Stacey (Anthony) Thompson of Russell; two brothers, Cokey (Leigh Ann) Mills of Raleigh, N.C. and Donald (Pauline) Mills of Lexington; four grandchildren, Mari Jo and Carson Thompson, Dillon and Mika Mills; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017, at Plaza Nazarene in Ashland with Rev. Dwight Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Friday at the church.
