Ora Lee Arnett Fannin, 85, of Rush, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland,with her family at her side.
Mrs. Fannin was born Dec. 12, 1931, in Greenup, to the late Tony and Virgie Carter Arnett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Paul Arnett and Emily Caldwell.
Ora attended Clay Lick School and was a homemaker and caregiver. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of Garrett Chapel.
Ora is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Jerry Fannin Jr.; their children, Ronald Jerry Fannin and wife Janet of Ashland and Pamela Kennedy and husband James of Catlettsburg; two grandchildren, Colin (Amy) Kennedy and Jacqueline (Hunter) McCormick; three great-grandchildren, Sienna, Brayton and Ryan; two brothers, Covey (Mary) Arnett of Grayson and John D. (Mary Ellen) Arnett of Portsmouth, Ohio; two sisters, Margaret Hammond of Rush and Norma (Cecil) Preece of Rush.
A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, at Ross Cemetery with Pastor Bob Kelley officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Neal Funeral Home in Catlettsburg.
