Patricia "Patty" Bradshaw, 64, of Horton Flats, entered into her heavenly home Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, after a brief illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Madeline Adkins; one brother, Douglas Adkins; and most recently by her grandson, Adam Cross.
Patty had a deep and unconditional love for her family, friends and her church family. She was easy to love and was always the bright spot on everyone's day when they were with her. She shared lots of laughter and love with everyone she was with. No one loved quite like Patty did. She was a member of Horton Flats Baptist Church, where she was a favorite worker in the nursery, VBS and the kitchen. She had a way of making you think you were the best, brightest or prettiest she had ever seen. She was truly "sweeter than sugar" and will be missed greatly.
Patty is survived by her loving husband, Carl of Horton Flats; a daughter, Shawne Cross of Michigan; and a son, John (Tara) Nykiel of Michigan; a stepdaughter, Ginger Bradshaw of Texas; a stepson, Heath Bradshaw of Texas; four grandchildren, Amanda Calvillo, Austin Cross, Dresden and Noell Nykiel; two great-grandchildren, Benicio and Apollo Calvillo; two brothers, Tony Adkins and Chad Adkins; and one sister, Pam Griffith.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 14th at 11 a.m. at Horton Flats Baptist Church with Dr. Brian Bush, pastor.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a benefit fund set up at Horton Flats Baptist Church for Patty's family, 1710 Horton Flats Rd.,
Olive Hill, KY 41164.
