Patricia Carnita Slone Estep, 64, of Louisa, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 28, 2017, following a brief illness.
Pat was born Sept. 13, 1952, in Little Mine Fork, the daughter of the late Donald and Georgia Pennington Slone.
She was a retired Lawrence County School Teacher and attended the Lighthouse Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her loving husband, Danny Estep; two daughters, Stephanie Johnson and her husband, Darren, of Louisa, and Rebecca Maynard and her husband, Eric, of Fort Gay, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Tristan Johnson, Braydan Maynard and Boedy Maynard; four siblings, Sandra Setser of Oil Springs, Pam Collier, Jeanetta Blanton and Ronald Slone all of Little Mine Fork; brothers-in-law, Paul (Beverly) Estep of Keaton, and Johnny (Carolyn) Estep of Staffordsville; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Wilson Funeral Home in Louisa with the Rev. Jim Bevins, the Rev. Greg Caudill and Brother Jimmy Castle officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Louisa.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the ICU Nursing Staff at Cabell Huntington Hospital for the care they gave to Pat.
