Richard Keith Carrico, 61, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
Mr. Carrico was born April 26, 1955, in Barberton, Ohio, a son of the late John and Helen Wechsler Carrico.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Terry Lee Carrico.
Richard was a member of Central Baptist Church in Ashland and served with the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired as a Chief Engineer from Madison Coal and Supply in Charleston, W.Va., after many years of service.
He is survived be his loving wife, Jamie Hutchinson Carrico of Ashland; his daughters, JoLinda Howard and husband Craig of Ashland, Heather Hall and husband Adam of Argillite; a brother, Charles (Judy) Carrico of Akron, Ohio; a sister, Deborah (John) McKenzie of Akron, Ohio; a step-sister, Debbie (Mike) Frear of Canton, Ohio; four grandchildren, Colin Howard, Ella Hall, Ethan Hall and CaLeigh Howard; and a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland with Charles Rice and Mike Amos officiating. Private interment will be at at later date.
Friends may call after noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
