Ruby "Sis" Williams, 89, of Worthington, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 31, 2017, in Oakmont Manor in Flatwoods.
Ruby was born Sept. 20, 1927, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late James Albert and Elizabeth Ferguson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Lou Williams; one sister, Audrey Nickell; five brothers, James Ferguson, Albert Ferguson Jr., Donald Ferguson, Eddie Ferguson, Dick Ferguson and Ernest Ferguson; and one grandson, Mark Alan Criswell.
Ms. Williams retired from Greenup Country school system, where she was a cook for 42 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth "Libby" (Jim Hall) Criswell of Worthington; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at noon Monday, April 3, 2017, at Evans Funeral Home in Raceland with Bill Oaks officiating. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Ave. Ashland, KY 41101.
