Ruth Click Edmonds, 83, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
Ruth was born Dec. 20, 1933, in Boyd County to the late Benjamin and Katherine Conley Click. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, William Estill Click, Earl Click, Henry Otis Click and Paul Click; five sisters, Grace Click, Vera B. Jordan, Lena Conley, Elizabeth Moore and Madge Carpenter.
She was a former office manager at Watson's Department Store and a member of 13th Street Free Will Baptist Church.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 58 years, Tommy Ray Edmonds; three daughters, Janetta Rose Edmonds of Ashland, Ginger Dawn Walker (Gary) of South Point, and Mellody Ann Johnson (Jerry Hicks) of Ironton; one brother, Curtis Click of Westwood; one sister-in-law, Betty O'Neil of Michigan; one brother-in-law, Ken Edmonds of Ashland; five grandchildren, Jennifer Michelle Williams (Billy), Ashlee Dawn Walker, Gary Thomas Walker, J.C. Kinney and Landon Johnson; two greatgrandchildren, Alicia Valdez and Fenix Valdez; her loving caregiver, Sarah Pugh of Ashland; along with her many loving nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens with Pastor Chuck Ferguson and Pastor Ed Cook officiating.
