Ruth D. Howe, 66, of Catlettsburg, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, April 21, 2017, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
She was born July 27, 1950, in Ashland, the daughter of the late Beuford and Emma Jean Marcum Lyons. She was also preceded by a daughter, Tonya Lynn Adams; and a brother, Jack Lyons.
She was retired from the Boyd County School System and a member of New Hope Church of God in Rush.
Survivors include her husband, Joe A. Howe; three daughters, Tassy (William) Holley of Barboursville, W.Va., Lori Baker of Indianapolis, Ind., and Erin (Jeff) Foos of Kansas, Ohio; a son, Alan "A.J." Howe of Rising Sun, Ohio; three sisters, Anna (John) Davis, Frances (Charley) Stewart and Michaelle Lyons all of Catlettsburg; seven grandchildren, Ethan Holley, Austen Holley, Katie Baker, Cooper Baker, Carlie Foos, Cassidy Foos and Chloe Foos; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017, at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland by Charley Stewart officiating.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
