Thomas Howe Noble, 85, of Catlettsburg, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
He was born March 8, 1932, in Kenova, W.Va., a son of the late Oscar and Martha Money Noble. In additioin to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Naomi "Ruth" Thompson Noble; one brother, Jennings "Jink" Noble; two sisters, Wilma Jean Noble Thompson and Marietta Noble Wilson; and two daughters, Tonna Carol Noble and Joy Annette Noble.
Thomas was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Huntington VFW Post 1064, a member of the American Legion Golf League and a member of the Kenova American Legion Post 93.
His hobbies included golf, painting (art) and piano.
Survivors include one daughter and her boyfriend, Susan Noble Gabritsch and Garry Huddleston of Catlettsburg; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas "Tuck" Noble (Easter) of Winterville, Ohio, and Gregory "Greg" Noble (Leann) of Ashland; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Larry Noble (Janice) of Phenix City, Ala.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova with Pastor Scott Byard officiating. Interment will be in Catlettsburg Cemetery with graveside rites by the Kenova American Legion Post 93 Honor Guard.
Friends may call after noon Thursday at the funeral home.
