Timothy Milton Cains, 61, of Denton, went to be with his Lord Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Tim was born April 4, 1956, a son of Walter Woodrow and Bessie Waugh Cains of Grayson.
Tim was a born-again Christian, a U.S. Army veteran and served his country honorably from 1975 to 1978. He worked at CSX Railroad as a carman welder more than 30 years. Tim was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, trapping and fishing. Tim loved watching the church kids fishing at his pond.
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Debbie Faye Wilburn Cains; a sister, Kathy (Bill) Neice of Denton; a brother, Ted (Wanda) Cains of Finley, Ohio; two nieces, Angie (Brenden) Simmons and Jessica Cains; two nephews, Lacy (Jeniffer) Neice and Steven Neice; and a host extended family and friends who all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, 2017, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will be in Cooksey Cemetery with military rites.
