Tony Wayne Miller, 68, of Greenup, passed away Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, surrounded by his family who loved him dearly.
Mr. Miller was born April 19, 1949, in Portsmouth, Ky., a son of the late Jasper Wayne and Violet Katherine Howard Miller.
He was a 1966 graduate of McKell High School and worked at AK Steel for 30 years. He loved to farm, raise cattle and grow tobacco. He enjoyed "shootin' the breeze" at Rt. 7 Quik Stop.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Brenda Kay Hall Miller; three daughters, Toni ReNae Miller of Greenup, Anna and Rob Workman of Las Vegas, Nev., and Debbie and Joe Helms of Wortington; two brothers, Steve and Freda Miller of Load and Gary and Sharon Miller of Greenup; one sister, Carol and Ernest Bailey of York; six grandchildren, Klishaya Workman, Dwayne Workman, J.D. Helms, Austin Helms, Marty Helms and Colton Helms; and one granddog, Snooki.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup. Burial will be in Eggers Cemetery in York.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and after noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
