Wanda Kitchen, 67, of Grayson, passed away Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 27, 1949, in Hitchins, a daughter of Betty Cains Glancy of Grayson and the late Amos "June" Glancy.
Wanda was a graduate of Hitchins High School and Morehead State University where she earned a BA degree. She most recently worked as a substitute teacher in the Carter County School System.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Kitchen; a son, Derek (Alisha) Estep of Ashland; a daughter, Rachel Estep of Grayson; a brother, Terry (Debbie) Glancy of Pensacola, Fla.; three sisters, Brenda Kay Menix, Jennifer (Carl) Wagoner and Debbie (Carlos) Brown, all of Grayson; and four grandchildren, Isaiah Lee Estep, Chase Webb, Whitney Webb and Gavin Smith.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, at Sparks Funeral Home. Burial will be in Veterans Cemetery North East. Pallbearers will be Tony, Chris and Kyle Cordle, Richard Glancy, Chase Webb and Tyler Morris.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, at the funeral home.
