William "Bill" Earl Rhoden, 73, of Argillite, passed away Wednesday March 22, 2017, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
Mr. Rhoden was born Aug 2, 1943, in Wurtland, a son of the late William H. Rhoden and Marjorie Grubb Rhoden Medley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sister, Linda Rhoden and Kathy Horsley; and three brothers, Michael Rhoden, J.D. Rhoden and David Medley.
He served in the National Guard for two years and was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Adkins of Lloyd and Freddie Adkins of Cincinnati, Ohio; one daughter, Velvet Ann Rogers of Anderson, Ind.; seven brothers, Clyde Rhoden of Argillite, Kenneth Rhoden of Argillite, Fred Rhoden of Raceland, Wayne Rhoden of Columbus, Ohio and Jeff and Theresa Rhoden of Argillite; one sister, Regina Deaton of Argillite; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren
A memorial service will be at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup County.
