Kathleen F. Shanks, 92, formerly of Ashland, died Friday at her home. She is survived by her daughter Teresa Shanks (Rob) Wettling. Services will be 12:00pm Tuesday, Sept. 30th at the Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Visitation from 11:00 - 12:00 at the Mausoleum Chapel.

Melvin Morgan, 70, of Westwood, husband of Claudetta Morgan, died on Saturday at Community Hospice Care Center. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6-8 PM at PRESTON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 2:00 PM.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Old Orchard Christian Church, 3600 Blackburn Ave., Ashland, KY, on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.

Kenneth Maddox, 85, of Olive Hill, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, The Grahn, Kentucky native was born June 21, 1940, the son of the late Woodrow Maddix and Edith Bailey Maddix.
