Alta broke the surly bonds of this world after fighting a long battle with Alzheimers. An incredibly kind woman, she was a former associate professor at MSU in the college of Nursing. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr Donald Blair and her younger son Michael Lewis. She leaves behind a son Dr Stephen Lewis and his wife Sherry Dickson Lewis and 2 granddaughters Sydney and Savannah.
