Ironton, Ohio - Deborah Ann Dickess, 71, of Ironton, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 2, 2026. She was born June 18, 1954 in Albany, GA to her late father; Donald Gene Kincaid and her mother; Joanne Cannon Kincaid of Ironton. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband; Michael Lee Dickess, whom she married on June 24, 1972.

Debbie was a 1972 graduate of Ironton High School and was a beloved member of First Baptist Church of Ironton. She was a former employee of Ashland Oil in the Human Resources Dpt. from 1972-1999. Debbie loved watching the Ironton Fighting Tigers and The Ohio State Buckeyes. She loved spending time at her beach house in Florida and fishing off the pier. She adored all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and mother, those left to forever keep her memory alive are her beloved children; Melissa Harrison (Duane) of Ironton, Amy Barnes (Eric) of Ironton, Michael Leighann Gleichauf (Mark) of Ironton, Amanda Walker (Jasun) of Ironton and Christopher Dickess (Savannah) of Ironton, her beloved grandchildren; Chloe Boggs (Riley), Quay Harrison, Carleigh Justice, Marlee Justice, Mason Holschuh, Ayden Barnes (Brooklynn), Brooke Seibert (David), Erickson Barnes (Lexie), Lincoln Barnes (fiance Braylin Wallace), Judah Barnes, Adison Barnes, Alexis Barnes, Eli Jah Barnes, Isaiah Alison Barnes, Maximus Gleichauf (fiance Nora Sublett), Michael Gleichauf (Abby), Morgan Gleichauf (fiance Lola Hankins), McKenzie Gleichauf, Mitchell Gleichauf, Ryann Walker, Jase Walker, Jax Walker, Jayden Walker, Emerson Dickess, Greyson Dickess, Hudson Dickess, her beloved great-grandchildren; Joziah Bruce, Banks Seibert, Kent Barnes, Michael Gleichauf and Silas Boggs, her siblings; Bobbie Thompson (John) and Mike Kincaid (Sherri). She will be missed dearly by all that knew her.

The Dickess family would like to thank UK Chandler Hospital/Markey Cancer Center and Community Hospice for the care their loved one was given.

There will be a graveside service at 11:00am, Wednesday, January 7, 2026 in Woodland Cemetery with Pastor Eric Barnes officiating.
