Flatwoods, KY - Elsie C. Lezu, 93, formerly of Flatwoods, Kentucky, passed away on August 10, 2025. She was born on April 15, 1932, in Hunnewell, KY, a daughter to the late Johnie Cameron and Polly Conley Cameron. Along with her parents, Elsie is preceded in death by her husband, Alex Lezu; sisters Wanda Lee Spears, Leota McDowell, Faye Dingess, Gay Sparks; and brother Lloyd Cameron.

She is survived by her children, daughter Brenda Hritz (Greg) of Grove City, OH; son Mike Farris (Kim) of Lumberport, WV; grandson Darrell Tobin (Stephanie) of London, OH, granddaughter Polly Kelly of Grove City, OH, grandson Isaiah Farris (Summer) of Sulphur OK, granddaughter Ashley Dytzel (Jeff) of Shinnston, WV granddaughter Abigail Milnes (Billy) of Enterprise, WV; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Jesse Cameron of Worthington, KY; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Elsie retired from Ohio Bell Telephone as an operator. She was a member of the Iron Hill Assoc. of United Baptist. She loved spending time with her family.

Friends will be received at Evans Funeral Home in Raceland, KY, on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 5:00PM-8:00PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.
