Ashland, Kentucky - Frances (Kay) Gay (nee Hurtt) passed away on October 27th, 2025 at her home.
Mrs. Gay was born March 31, 1943, the oldest child of the late James R. (Dick) Hurtt and the late Lucille Hicks McCollum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randall L. Gay of Vidallia, Georgia. She is survived by a brother, James (Jim) Hurtt of Shelbyville, Kentucky, a sister, Debbi Hurtt Caudill of Ashland, a nephew, James "Bo" Smith of Ashland, a niece, Samantha Caudill, and several great nieces and nephews.
No services are planned. All arrangements were under the direction of Steen Funeral Home.
