Gregory Elton Bush, 63, of Rush, went to be with his Lord surrounded by his family and friends after a long battle with cancer.
Greg was born June 12, 1956, in Ashland, Ky., a son of the late Clifford Elton and Marjorie Evelyn Crabtree Bush.
He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 181 as a crane operator.
He was preceded in death by a brother Clifford Elton Bush, Jr.
Greg is survived by his wife of 38 years, Phyllis Brainard Bush; two sons, Joshua (Kisha) Bush of Grayson and Adam (Jennifer) Bush of Rush; one daughter, Rachael Bush of Rush; three sisters, Lesley Castle of Grayson, Cheryl Floyd of Greenup, and Shelia (Rex) Collins of Grayson; one brother, Timothy (Donna) Bush of Greenup; six grandchildren, Kyra Bush, Halle Bush, Layla Bush, Taylor Bush, Whitney Howard and Trace Brown; and one special great-grandson, Tristan River Evans.
He will live on through the memory of the laughter he was so well known for.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, 11a.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Riffe, minister. Burial will be in Norris Cemetery, Greenup. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 9p.m. at Malone Funeral Home.
