Ashland, Kentucky - Gregory Kirk Collier, 66, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Community Hospice Care Center of Ashland. His final day was a peaceful one filled with sunshine, a gentle breeze and beautiful music from his precious daughter Halley.

Greg was born December 27, 1959, in Ashland, Kentucky. He was the son of Malcolm and Goldie Kazee Collier, both deceased. In addition, Greg is preceded in death by his brothers, Malcolm Dwain and Richard Jeffrey Collier.

Greg's childhood was spent following his father "like a shadow," learning much about mechanics and automobiles in spite of his young age. He had an aptitude for all things technical; he loved the challenge of putting things back together. As he grew into a man his passion for auto work deepened, leading him to a lifetime of work in autobody repair and mechanics. Greg's skill was unsurpassed.

Greg was a loyal and true brother and friend. He always had time to help for family, friends, neighbors, or even strangers. His charismatic personality, gentle chuckle, and warm smile carried him throughout his life. He was a gentleman to all he met.

Greg is survived by his children, Gregory Collier Jr., Benjamin (Liz) Collier, and Halley Collier; his stepchildren Kimberly (Rob) Litteral and Bobby H. Senters III. He is also survived by his sisters Brenda Susan (Michael) McFarland, Karen Ann Bowling, Angela Kay (William) Thompson, and Barbara (Matthew) Hale, and his brother Philip Scot (Karen) Collier. In addition, he had many nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren, and wife Carol Collier.

Services for Gregory will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Summit Baptist Church, 1024 KY-716, Ashland, 41102. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and services at 2:00. All are welcome.
