Flatwoods, KY - Helen Louise Jordan, 80, of Flatwoods, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Kingsbrook Lifecare Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Helen was born June 9, 1945, in Greenup, Kentucky to the late Earnest Jordan and Lily Elizabeth Oddesty Brinegar Jordan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Jordan, one nephew, Jordan Andrew Parks, two sisters-in-law, Betty Jordan and Janet Jordan, and two brothers-in-law, John Kiser and Ken Blanton.

She is survived by one brother, Carl Jordan of Greenup, four sisters, Betty Kiser of Lexington, Kentucky, Jo Ann Blanton of Mt. Dora, Florida, Julie Parks and her husband Mark of Flatwoods, and Brenda Stone and her husband Danny of Flatwoods, and a host of other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Helen was a faithful member of the Flatwoods Church of Christ and loved helping in the Kitchen during VBS. She spent countless hours helping deliver the annual Church calendars to local businesses, and residents. For over a decade Helen could be found volunteering at the Our Lady Bellefonte Hospital front desk, this brought her great joy and fulfillment in her life. Helen loved her family dearly and cherished every moment she got to spend with them.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Flatwoods Church of Christ, with Minister Todd Parsley officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Doug Jordan, Kevin Boyle, Chris Boyle, Johnathan Jordan and Nathan Parks.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM till the service hour Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the Flatwoods Church of Christ, 2100 Argillite Rd, Flatwoods, KY 41139.
