Ida "Pauline" Poling Cordle, 80, of McDermott, OH., formerly of South Shore, KY., went to be with her Lord Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. She was born September 12, 1942 in Vienna, WV., a daughter of the late Lawrence "Pat" and Virginia Dye Poling.

She was a Homemaker and a member of the Firebrick Christian Baptist Church, serving the Lord for 45 years. She was an amazing one-of-a-kind woman, her presence touched so many lives. Everyone who knew her was blessed to know the sweetest, kindest, most giving "angel" to ever walk the earth.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Henry Harold Cordle SR; one brother, Jim Poling and one sister, Myra Missler.

Left behind to cherish her memory are two daughters, Charolette (Troy) Pennington of Sciotoville, OH., and Brenda (Rich Rutherford) Cordle of West Portsmouth, OH; one son, Henry Harold Cordle JR of Marion, OH; one brother, Larry (Janet) Poling of Toledo, OH; one grandson her pride and joy, Justin (Morgan) Cordle of South Point, OH; two great-grandchildren, Sterling Cordle, Shailee Cordle and one "precious angel" on the way. Along with a beloved mother-in-law, Mary "Liz" Cordle of Flatwoods, KY; one brother-in-law, Terry Missler; one sister-in-law, Fran Poling both of Toledo, OH and several other cherished family, church family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Monday, January 23, 2023 at Firebrick Christian Baptist Church 262 Indian Run RD Firebrick, KY 41174 with Pastor Raymond Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at MT. Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be Monday from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour at the church.

The family would like to thank Rest Haven Nursing Home for their amazing care and compassion. Many had become her family too.
