Jerry Randall Fleming, 72, of Ironton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2016, in St. Mary's Medical Center in Ironton.

The Ashland native was born April 6, 1944, a son to the late Russell and Nina Callahan Fleming.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Fleming.

Mr. Fleming was a 1962 graduate of Ashland High School. He worked as truck driver for AK Steel. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church in Ashland. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed being with family. He has been involved with horses since his childhood and loved photography, Nascar and gospel music.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Sandra Patrick Fleming; a son, Jeff Fleming of Ashland; a daughter, Christy Fleming Stewart of Ashland; two sisters, Clara Lee (Rev. Charles) Stewart of Ashland and Bonnie Jenkins of Ironton; four grandchildren, Joseph Nance, April Nance, Mary Nance and Liam Fleming, all of Ashland

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 at Tracy Brammer Monroe Funeral Home in Ironton with Pastor Brad Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
