Acworth, GA - John Burton "Johnny" Miller of Acworth, Georgia, born August 30, 1965, in South Carolina and raised in Flatwoods, Kentucky, passed away on September 24, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of heart, humor, and unwavering faith.
A proud University of Kentucky graduate, he earned his degree in Pharmacy in 1989 and spent his career as a compassionate, dedicated pharmacist, always quick with a smile and a joke.
John loved Kentucky--its basketball, bourbon, and horse country--and carried that pride wherever he went.
Known for his deep kindness, quiet faith, and unforgettable laugh, he had a gift for making people feel seen, often with a wise word and a well-placed punchline.
He is survived by his husband, Trevor Staehely; his mother, Lynn Miller; siblings Jim Miller and Mandy (Steve) Bayes; nieces Kelsea (Tyler) Wolf, Sibley (Dan) Martin, Sarah Miller; nephew Matthew Jones; great-nephews Landon and Easton Wolf; cherished in-laws; and many beloved family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Miller, and his beloved dogs, Churchill and Tucker.
John's spirit lives on in every story, every laugh, and every heart he touched.
