Ashland, Kentucky - John Michael Dove, 77, of Ashland, KY died Monday October 13, 2025, at the residence of his daughter, in Sarasota, FL surrounded by his loving family.

He was born October 18, 1947, in Ashland, KY, the son of the late John D. and Dorothy Caudill Dove. Mike was a member of the CornerStone Methodist Church, a 53-year member of the Ashland Elks Lodge #350, a graduate of Morehead State University with a Bachelor of Art Degree and a lifetime member of the Lamba Chi Alpha Fraternity.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Betty Dove. Survivors include one daughter, Tina Dove Hall and husband Coleman Hall of Sarasota, FL; one brother, Danny Dove and wife Mary Jo of Lexington, KY; two grandchildren, Tanner Hall and wife, Carly and Brittany Hall and fiancé, Michael Martiranio; one niece, Danielle Dove and one nephew, Dustin Dove.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday October 18, 2025, at the STEEN FUNERAL HOME, CENTRAL AVENUE CHAPEL by Rev Keith L. Katterheinrich and Rev. John Carwell. Burial will follow at Ashland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. There will be an Elks service conducted at 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
