Julia Bradford Nunley
Julia Nunley, 77, of Rush, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019, at her residence.
She was born March 12, 1942, in Scioto County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Glen and Virginia Williams Bradford.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James Ray Nunley and her best friend, Artha Lee McCarty.
Julia was a graduate of Boyd County High School and was retired as a nurse's aid with Kings Daughters Home Health. She worked with the Red Cross, and had played piano for many area churches.
She is survived by four sons, Sheldon(Ruth) Jenkins of Rush, Eric (Kelly) Nunley of Grayson, Michael (Marie) Nunley of Hitchins, and Jeff (Mary) Nunley of Olive Hill; three daughters, Lisa (George) Groves of Catlettsburg, Regina (Jim Burton) Shepherd of Grayson, and Jami (Rick ) Sexton of Willard; a twin sister Judy (David) Jarvis of Boyd County; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Warden of Springfield, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Philip Nunley of Rush; fifteen grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October, 16, 2019, at 1 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home, Clell Lucas, minister. Burial will follow at the Cribbs Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 15, 2019, 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
