Larry Gene Reeves Obituary

Frankfort - Larry Gene Reeves, 79, husband of Donna Jean Lewis Reeves, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025. He was born in Carter County, Kentucky on October 8, 1945 to the late Frank and Clotine Hall Reeves. Larry was a teacher at Boyd County Vocational School and a Veteran of the US Army. He was a Journeyman Welder, a member of the Local Union 1519, millwright, mechanic, and a skilled craftsman.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Jan Bennett and Catherine Cunningham; his sons, Shawn Anthony Reeves and Keith Ison (Karey Dawn); his sisters, Cathy Rice, Grayson, KY, Mona O'Bryan, Greenup, KY, and Diane Bowen (Rob), Ashland, KY; his brother, Frank Reeves; his aunt, Shirley Shoppe, Locust Grove, GA; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Reeves.

Graveside Service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Veterans Park in Grayson, Kentucky. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.ClarkLegacyCenter.com.
