Ashland, KY - Loretta Conley, 101, of Ashland, widow of Charles Conley, passed away peacefully Friday evening, June 20, 2025, at Kingsbrook Lifecare Center.

Loretta was born August 28, 1923, in Paintsville, Kentucky, to the late Numa Hitchcock Williams and Dewey Williams. After her mother passed away, Loretta was raised by her loving stepmother, Sarah Williams.

Loretta was a former telephone operator with General Telephone. She was a faithful member of Westwood Christian Church, where she was a member of the choir and the JOY Club. She was an avid UK Basketball fan and loved watching their games. Above everything, she loved her family and especially enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, father, and stepmother, Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Conley; her son, Charles Timothy Conley; her brother, Paul Williams; and her sister, Lorraine Baldridge.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Conley (Carolyn) of Ashland and Scott Conley (Joy) of Russell, KY; step brother Charles Dewy Williams (Pam) of Paitnsville, five grandchildren, Brian Conley, Lisa Carter, Christopher Conley, Amanda Johnson, and Allison Davis; six great grandchildren, Ethan Conley, Dorian Carter, Olivia Johnson, Aiden Davis, Kenleigh Davis and Zander Davis, along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, at Caniff Funeral Home, with Kevin Fraley, Minister, officiating. Entombment will follow in Ashland Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
