Lovonda McClain Lockhart
Lovonda McClain Lockhart, 79, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Ashland, died Sunday morning, February 9, at Baptist Health Lexington following a short illness.
Lovonda was born October 22, 1940, in West Liberty, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Ivan and Laura Conley McClain.
She was a member of the South Ashland United Methodist Church.
Lovonda was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Ray Lockhart in 2013; and 2 brothers, Gene McClain and Ivan Reece McClain.
Surviving include 2 sons, Doren Lockhart, and wife Kim, of Cedar Hill, Tennessee, and Todd Lockhart, and wife Daryl, of Lexington, Kentucky; 5 grandchildren, Matthew, Kathrine, Evan, Kelsey, and Tori.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 14, at 1 p.m. at PRESTON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME by Rev. Mike Rice. Entombment will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. until service time. Contributions may be made in Lovonda's memory to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500, Chicago, IL 60611.
