Ashland, Kentucky - Mae Hamilton Greene Witten, 86, of Greenup, Ky., passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2019, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.

She was born in Warnock, Ky., May 28, 1933, a daughter of the late Emmitt and Cora Brown Hamilton.

She was of the Christian Faith and attended Load Christian Baptist.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband Douglas Greene, and her second husband John "Jack" Witten; three brothers, Paul Hamilton, Chillers Hamilton, and Emmitt Hamilton Jr.; two sisters, Nettie Allen and Vada Shook.

Left behind to cherish her memory are one son, Gary Langley (Brinda) Greene of Greenup, Ky.; two grandchildren, Gary Douglas (Amanda) Greene of South Shore, Ky., and Amanda Renee Greene of Greenup, Ky.; five great-grandchildren, Madison (Elijah) Montoya, Isaiah Greene, Richie Greene, Laynee Loan, and Brooklyn Mae Greene; one great-great granddaughter Naomi Montoya; and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, Ky., with Robbie Bond officiating. Burial will follow at Riffe Cemetery in Greenup, Ky.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday, December 11, 2019, from 6 until 9 p.m., and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday.
