Norma Jean Harbolt
Norma Jean Harbolt, 84, of Tavares, Florida, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Vitas at Edgewater Hospice, Mount Dora, Florida.
Mrs. Harbolt was born March 9, 1935 in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter to the late James William and Della (Terry) Simmons.
She is also survived by her husband Robert E. Harbolt, II, whom she married December 24, 1955.
Mrs. Harbolt attended Ironton High School and Ohio University Southern Campus. She was a retired realtor for Susan McGinnis Reality Company. Norma was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Ironton, Ohio and Beta Sigma Phi.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Jimmy Harbolt; seven brothers, William, Harold, James, Kenneth, Clarence, Stanley and Bill Simmons; four sisters, Anna Mae Hearon, Edna Ellis, Dorothy Carpenter and Maxine Voglesong.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Robert E. (Melissa) Harbolt, III of Ironton; daughter, Kendra Harbolt of Tavares, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Jacqui Hall, Brandon (Krystil) Harbolt, B.J. (Bobbi) Harbolt, Scott (Allie) Harbolt, Gavin Harbolt, Rhett Ball and Nikki Harbolt; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will 12 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2019, at First Church of the Nazarene, 2318 S 4th Street, Ironton, OH, with Rev. Rob Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery and visitation will be Thursday, 6 until 8 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, Ohio.
