Pamela "Pam" Burke Wright, 75, of Greenup, KY went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2023, in Hospice of Ashland. Pamela was born August 23, 1948, in Ashland, KY. She is the daughter of the late John Morgan Burke and the late Ethel Marie Tackett Burke. Also, preceding Pamela is one daughter, Bobbie Salyers.

After graduating from Fairview High School in 1966, Pam started working at Ashland Oil that same year. She partnered with her husband Gary and between the two of them, they operated several successful business ventures. Pam was not the typical Jack of all trades; she mastered any trade she put her mind to. She owned Wright's Motel, Wright's Income Tax Service, and Wright's Carpet Store, just to name a few.

A strong work ethic was not the only thing that defined Pam though. She was a devout Christian and was Baptized on May 15, 2020. She enjoyed painting but truly loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was the glue that bound her family.

Surviving Mrs. Wright is her husband Gary Michael Wright; one daughter, Becky (Jason) Keyes; two sons, Gary (Lashawna) Wright Jr, Jason (Christen) Wright; five sisters, Linda (Kenny) Venters, Anna (Mike) Stapleton, Betty (Carl) Conley, Johnda (Cindy) Burke, Judy (Tommy) McDaniel; one brother, John (Stephanie) Burke Jr; a special uncle, Danny (Donna) Burke; thirteen grandchildren, Nick Taylor, Chloe Wright, Ava Todd, Hayley Keyes, Tori Wears, Kylah Wright, Colin Wright, Molly Keyes, Samuel Wright, Zoey Keyes, Sophie Wright, Jase Keyes, Liam Wright; one great-grandchild, Blakely Smith; her extended family and a host of friends.

A funeral for Pamela Wright will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 1:00p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Russell with Pastor Ken Gowin officiating. The Church is located at 901 Ashland Dr. Russell, KY 41169. Burial to follow at Kirby Flats Cemetery.

A visitation for her friends will be held from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. on October 2, 2023, at the Evans Funeral Home of Raceland, Ky.
